Happy Monday Friends,
I am just getting home from the best weekend in Vail, with two wonderful friends. Its hard not to feel rejuvenated after a few consecutive days filled with laughing until you cry, a dreamy spa day, delicious food and a few yummy cocktails... Am I right?!
My friends Emily and Victoria booked a last minute trip to Denver and after finding out that Victoria had never visited the Rockies, Em and I quickly agreed that a majority of the trip should be spent enjoying our beautiful mountains. We spent the weekend at the Four Seasons which was the perfect spot for a girls trip! And I can't wait to share our 48 hour itinerary later this week so be sure to check back!
Springtime in CO, and particularly in the mountains can be extremely unpredictable - the girls had a difficult time packing because our forecast was so all over the place. It called for 70 degree weather one day, snow the next and even a little rain mixed in. One of the things I love most about Colorado is our varying conditions and that we can pretty much count on sunshine at some point every day.
Layering pieces are perfect for spring mountain days! And right now, you can find some serious steals on great staples like my camel coat (similar here $70). My boots from EMU Australia are the perfect weight for chilly spring days and I love that the metallic can make any plain out a little more fun!
